We're pregnant!

We're pregnant! Wow! It finally happened! And I am still in complete shock! On May 30, 2007 (My parents' anniversary!!) Colby and I found out we are having a baby! God is so good. I really didn't think I was, but I was five days late so my parents convinced me to go home and take a test the next morning. As I was walking home I prayed. I prayed that no matter what happened that God would take care of us. I prayed telling God that no matter what the result was that I wanted the best for my future children, so if that meant waiting a little longer to start our family, then I was ok with that. By the time I got home, I was feeling really good. So, I thought, what the heck, I'll just go ahead and take one. If it's going to be positive, it will be. And immediately it came up positive! But just to be sure I took another one the next morning and same thing happened. So, we are so happy. God is faithful. This has been such a journey but I think we have grown from it. And we want to give all the glory to Him because this is nothing we have done. Thank you Lord!!
As of Saturday we are 6 weeks pregnant. (I keep saying "we" because I mean Colby and I - this is not just happening to me) Right now the baby is the size of a lima bean. It is gaining reflexes and it's nervous system is growing. As of right now I am not feeling bad at all. I have some nausea every now and then but nothing major. I've had a little touch of heartburn and some cramping and that's all normal from what I hear! We don't know the exact due date yet...we don't go to the doctor until the 27th. But from how we've been told to count it, we should be due on or around Jan. 30th, 2008! Which just happens to be my brother's birthday! It is so amazing how God works things out.
