About Me

My photo
Wow where do I begin??? First of all I love my Jesus. He's my rock & comforter. By no means am I perfect & I am so thankful that in Him I am saved. I have been married to my best friend for 5 years. Colby is such a great hubby and amazing daddy. I can't believe what a hard worker he is and what he does for our family. If it's possible, I love him more everyday. We have two little boys, Jake who turned three in January and has blessed our lives more than we could have ever imagined! And Jett who was born in November and is such a sweet angel! Becoming a mommy has brought out an entire new part of me that I never knew existed. And I honestly can't even describe it. But it's the best, most significant, and most rewarding thing I've ever done. My family is my WORLD...I'm not worthy of such a beautiful family. GOD IS GOOD!

Something to think about

Ok so today I've had somewhat of a revelation. I have always known that my mom's side of the family has a history of twins. My grandma, ("Nanny" to most of you), had two sets of siblings that were twins, she had one set of twins herself AND one of her kids was pregnant with twins! And about the whole skipping a generation thing, yeah, that apparently doesn't happen in this family! Oh yeah, and my grandpa (Nanny's husband) had twins in his family as well. So, there's that possibility. Not to mention, today I'm talking to my parents about how crazy it would be to have twins. My dad then informs me that his aunt had twins and then they also had twins. My cousin on this side of the family also has twins! So, it is sort of coming at us from both sides of my family! I'm thinking that this would probably be a huge blessing, and I'm so lucky to have so many people in my life to help out if that were to happen. But WOW! I don't know what the actual percentage would be in this situation but it's got to be pretty big. But as far as I know no one in Colby's family has had twins, but I could be wrong on that. Anyways, just something we've been thinking about. We will be happy with whatever God has planned for us, but it would be crazy if that were to be the case!! We shall see...our prayer right now is just that God would bless this pregnancy and bring us a happy and healthy baby....(or babies).

That would be pretty awesome if you had twins! The whole hunger thing...that actually started a while back. I had to eat like every 30 minutes during the first trimester to keep from getting sick. If I ever got hungry, that's when the sickness kicked in. Now I just actually feel hunger since I don't HAVE to eat every 30 minutes. Oh the joys of pregnancy that you have to look forward to :)!

That would be amazing!!! It sounds like your family is about like mine with twins (maybe more so than mine), so we're thinking maybe, just maybe there might be a chance....my dad is a twin, nathans grandma is a twin, and my cousin on one side had twins, and a cousin on the other side had triplets!!! We will find out today if there is one or two babies!!!! Like ya'll, I'm just as stoked to have one. I got to thinking, maybe thats why you guys had to wait a year, because God was really preparing you guys for TWINS!!! It won't be long before you know for sure!!!
