6 Months

Jake you are six months old!! We cannot believe how fast you are growing up. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of all you are learning!

You have gotten your bottom two teeth! You can't see them in these pictures, but one is almost all the way in and the other is right behind! And I think you're working on a few others because you are constantly chewing on your fingers or really anything you can get your hands on!

You love your friends. You have had a couple of your first birthday parties and you have so much fun getting to play with everyone! (And help break in all the new toys!)

You are trying SO hard to crawl! You've almost got it! You can go in circles and backwards but you just can't figure out that forward stuff! You rock back and forth trying to get yourself going!

You new thing right now is when you're on your tummy you lift yourself up off the floor completely with just your hands and feet. Daddy says you are so strong to be able to hold yourself up like that.


You are already trying to pull up on things. You love it when one of us put you up by the ottoman and let you stand there and play with your toys. You just giggle and talk the whole time!

This week you had your six month pictures taken with Tisha at Photos by Tisha and we had so much fun! We can't wait to see all the cute photos she took of you! Afterwards, you and daddy had fun walking around in your wagon.

You are saying "Dada" now. And you say it all the time! We've also heard "Mama", "Hi", and possibly "more." You babble constantly and when we're talking to someone other than you, you just start to talk louder and louder until we start talking to you! So, I know that once you're able to really talk, you'll never stop! Daddy has been off of work this week and we have had so much fun! You have really gotten to play with him a lot! You love to play in the floor with your daddy. You and mommy won't know what to do without daddy around next week, but it's been a fun little vacation time for our family.
The past six months has been the best months of our lives. You are such a joy and a blessing. Everyday is such a treasure with you. We honestly can't imagine not having you in our lives. You are our little angel! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!
