Well tomorrow I will be 38 weeks! I had a doctors appointment today and found out that we have made a little bit of progress. I am 60% effaced, which I was really excited about. She said that she wouldn't be surprised if I had him this week. And she went ahead and gave us all of our paperwork and told us what number to call if it happened. So, that was encouraging! My blood pressure was a little high, so she wants me to take it easy. She also "stretched" me a little today, she said that it sometimes will help to get things going. She is guessing that Jake is at a good 7 and a half pounds right now and she thinks that he will for sure be eight at birth if not more. Because he is already that big, she said that if I haven't gone into labor by next Friday that we will pick a day to induce! So, we are VERY excited that Jake will quite possibly be here in a week or less! (Hopefully less!) I have had a few contractions here recently. But once I walked around they seemed to go away. But, maybe we're getting close!
We'll try and keep updated on any progress. Just pray that things go smoothly and that we will make more progress this week.

- Wow where do I begin??? First of all I love my Jesus. He's my rock & comforter. By no means am I perfect & I am so thankful that in Him I am saved. I have been married to my best friend for 5 years. Colby is such a great hubby and amazing daddy. I can't believe what a hard worker he is and what he does for our family. If it's possible, I love him more everyday. We have two little boys, Jake who turned three in January and has blessed our lives more than we could have ever imagined! And Jett who was born in November and is such a sweet angel! Becoming a mommy has brought out an entire new part of me that I never knew existed. And I honestly can't even describe it. But it's the best, most significant, and most rewarding thing I've ever done. My family is my WORLD...I'm not worthy of such a beautiful family. GOD IS GOOD!

I'm getting so anxious! I keep bugging my mom to make sure she hasn't heard anything. Hopefully she got those books to you today and maybe they'll be useful. I can't wait for Bradley to have a little playmate!
I dreamed that you had baby Jake and he had a red haired beard. It looked pretty interesting on a baby! When I went to visit you in the hospital, somehow he was a girl instead and her name was something that started with a C? She was wearing a little dress but it wasn't buttoned. Anyways, I know that is totally random, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm apparently thinking about you having Jake even in my sleep! I can't wait to see what he looks like! My theory is that maybe you'll have him on Friday and that way he's exactly 1 week and 1 day early like Bradley was! There is definitely no science behind my prediction, but there you have it anyways. I'll be praying for you and I'm so excited!
